ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Scott — an empathic, relational leader who’s passionate about helping teams and individuals thrive. With a results-driven mindset and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, I bring both heart and strategy to every role I step into.

Originally from Ohio, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Wright State University and a master’s in Curriculum & Instruction from Youngstown State University. My career in higher education has taken me from the heart of New York City to the deserts of Arizona and now to the University of Georgia, where I serve as the Associate Director for Residential Programs and Services.

Along the way, I’ve held progressive leadership roles, including Residence Hall Director at St. John’s University and multiple leadership positions at Arizona State University — from Area Coordinator to Associate Director of Housing. Throughout my journey, I’ve remained focused on student success, team development, and creating inclusive environments for students of color and LGBTQ+ communities.

Naturally curious and always learning, I’m motivated by progress — especially when I’m competing with past versions of myself. Whether I’m strategizing campus programs, mentoring staff, or reimagining residential life, I lead with intention, integrity, and a collaborative spirit.
